Her creativity, drive, and passion to give back to the community are traits that KOLLECTIN deeply admires and values.

CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF?
Niké is a Nigerian stylist, artist, and activist. Her passion is for the homeless youth in her Los Angeles community. She works alongside the United Nations and volunteers weekly to feed and help the homeless. Niké has a special place in her heart for the homeless because years ago, she was homeless when she came to Los Angeles to chase her dreams. During that time she learned many lessons, especially that life’s possibilities are endless, and as long as you are tenacious and have faith, any dream is yours to make a reality. She expresses thanks to her friends (who she considers family), family members and everyone who has mentored her along the way for all of their support and love. She finds her inspiration through all of you and hopes to use this space to inspire you all in return.
WHAT ARE YOUR ASPIRATIONS?
To one day retire in my country of Nigeria. However, first, to have my own sunglasses line.
WHO ARE YOUR MUSIC AND FASHION INSPIRATIONS?
James Blake is my favorite artist and I do tend to listen to him as I get ready for work every morning. I am a huge Olivia Palermo fan. My style is polished and I do look to her for inspiration.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ACCESSORY? SOMETHING YOU CAN’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
I normally don’t describe my style as it changes based on my mood. However, if I were to describe it in one word, I’ll say “Polished”! Whether I’m experimenting with of-the-moment trends, or infusing my outfits with a splash of color, or tastefully wearing an elegant hat, I’ll say the outcome is consistently pulled together. I also try to make sure my outfits are accessible, a savvy mix of designer investments (Balenciaga and Givenchy) and high-street finds (H&M and Zara).
AS A KOLLECTIN STYLE STAR, HOW HAVE YOU BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN USING KOLLECTIN TO SHOW YOUR PERSONAL STYLE AND INFLUENCE OTHERS? WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT KOLLECTIN?
I love how interactive the app is. The variety as well.
