Kollectin CEO Nadia Lee honored as "Women Business Pioneer"
It was a “#girlboss thing” when the Asian Business Association held its Women Business Pioneers Symposium at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. In its mission to represent Asian American business owners and create business opportunities for its members and their diverse communities, the ABA wanted to provide an opportunity for hundreds of ladies to meet “women business pioneers” who have been making strides in their respective industries. Panelists included the likes of Health-Ade Kombucha chief sales officer Vanessa Dew, IDLogic founder/CEO Kelly Nguyen and Forensis Group founder/CEO Mercy Steenwyk.
Also on the panel of esteemed speakers was Kollectin’s co-founder, Nadia Lee. She had quite an inspiring story to share with young, aspiring businesswomen. Nadia had to overcome quite a few obstacles to get where she is today. From inexperience to lack of family support, Nadia used these roadblocks to motivate her and applied what she learned to her "fail" her way to the top. Today, through successful collaborations with vendors and a passion for creating, Nadia’s brands have only grown and expanded.
Those who came out to hear from Nadia and the other speakers received invaluable lessons from women who are winning in life and business. Admittedly, everyone walked away with a boost in confidence and more direction on their plans.
