KOL 101: Getting Started with KOLLECTIN

You can shop and support our KOL Stylist’s small businesses through any of their shared links, with or without downloading the app. All KOL Stylist Seller links are shoppable in our app or your browser.Style
If you want to set up a store and earn up to 15% commission styling products you love, download the Kollectin App and keep reading to get started.
Step 2 | Create Your KOL Stylist Store
Your KOL Stylist Store is your personal online boutique. Fill your store with up to 10 items with a Free Store Plan, or additionally add up to 200 items and earn a 15% commission when someone makes a purchase in your store with a Basic Store Plan. When you purchase an item from your own store, you get a 10% Stylist discount.
Step 3 | Get to Know the Style Myself Box & Get Styled Box
As a Basic Store Plan member, the Style Myself Box is a tool for Kollectin Stylists to create content to promote the products in your store. With the Style Myself Box, you can order 4-6 items from your store to keep for up to 7 days to feel the quality, understand fit, and create authentic content for your store. Additionally, you get to experience what Client experiences with the Get Styled Box you curate for them through the journey of using Style Myself Box.
Your 10% seller discount will apply to any KOL Box items you choose to keep.
Step 4 | Promote Your Store with Share Tools
For all Store Plans, use Kollectin's built-in tools to share your store, a specific item, or a personalized cart, via text, link, or QR code.
Share Your Store
Add your store link to your link in bio, blog, website, or wherever you share general details with your audience. Providing a link on your most popular channels gives your audience a simple way to access your store.
Share an Item
Use it when you want to share details on a specific item from your store. For example, when someone asks you about a specific item you’re wearing.
Share a Cart
Create and share personalized shopping carts. Use for sharing full outfit details, styling your friends, promoting seasonal trends, creating product roundups, gift guides, etc.
Step 5 | The Types of Commissions
There are two different types of commissions that you can earn from the sales:
Your personal Stylist Sales Commission
Earn up to 15% Sales Commission on purchases made in your KOL Stylist Store, or Get Styled Box that you curate — when a shopper purchases something from your KOL Stylist Store or Get Styled Box you curated, you earn up to 15% commission from that purchase.
Other Sales Commission
Earn Sales Commission on purchases made by your Clients when they purchase from the Kollectin App or other KOL Stylist stores.
Your Clients is made up of Kollectin users who: (1) created their account using one of your share links, or (2) made their original purchase from your KOL Stylist Store.
View your Clients on the KOL App: Me > Invited/Clients
💰 View your bling report to track your commissions
Blings/commissions will appear in your Bling Report under the Escrow Blings tab until the return window has passed for the eligible item.
Once the return window has passed, the Blings will move to your Bling Detail page and will be available to cash out or spend.
View your Bling Report in the KOL App: Me > My Settings > Bling Report

Building Your Client base
We suggest content that is business focused: sharing your Get Styled Box experience, starting a business, entrepreneurship, business tools, etc.
