CA Dream Fund Grant Program

 

KOLLECTIN is partnering with Pace LA (https://pacela.org/) in search of candidates for the CA Dream Fund Grant Program (through the State of CA) to provide micro grants of $10,000 to pre-venture /aspiring entrepreneurs and new businesses in underserved small business groups that are facing capital and opportunity gaps.

These micro grants shall be made available to startup clients participating in intensive startup training provided by Pace LA (8 session on-demand trainings) and consulting.


Eligibility for Dream Fund Program

  • Pre-venture /aspiring entrepreneurs or new businesses (Have registered the business or obtained a business license in the State of California after July 1, 2019)

  • A business participating in the Dream Fund should be a new or startup business. The business does not need to have registered their business or obtained a business license when they first enter the program. We would expect that the business would receive technical assistance and training around business formation and that business formation would occur prior to the business receiving the grant.

Below are the business industries and volume that we are covering:

  • Brick-and-mortar any business type (Lease): 100

  • Green Technology/Infrastructure: 10

  • Manufacturing: 10

  • Professional/Scientific/Technical: 15

  • Construction Trades: 25
